USF Examines Cutting Underperforming Degree Programs
A USF Board of Trustees workgroup is recommending the university cut a number of underperforming bachelors and masters level degree programs. The Tampa Tribune reports the cuts will allow USF to offer programs that have better job prospects. The full Board of Trustees will take up the recommendations at its meeting this Thursday, Dec. 3.
TAMPA - Low enrollment numbers and a lack of job prospects for graduates have landed some degrees at the University of South Florida on the chopping block, officials said.
