Republican State Senator Rob Bradley is leading the charge to keep future constitutional amendments in Florida single-issue. Bradley filed a bill last week, after most “bundled” amendments passed during the Midterm elections.

Florida lawmakers continue to be frustrated with the state Department of Health over its slow implementation of medical marijuana rules. 

New Senate appropriations chairman Rob Bradley wants more of the land acquisition trust fund going to land purchasing and management.

A state senator is trying to put $100 million a year into the land conservation program Florida Forever.  The Legislature didn’t appropriate anything for it this year.

The Florida lawmaker who authored this year’s changes to Florida’s Stand Your Ground law says the legislature does have the right to update the law. It’s in response to a judge’s ruling Monday declaring the revised version unconstitutional.

Parents could soon be able to see how much the school district is spending on their child’s education.
