Federal authorities expanded their nationwide search on Thursday for the person who sent a wave of suspected explosive devices to political nemeses of President Trump.

Ten devices addressed to eight targets have been intercepted or discovered, but no one has been hurt. It isn't clear whether or not the attack is over; the FBI said it can't rule out that more suspicious packages might still be moving through the mail.

Former Vice President Joe Biden rallied support for the Florida Democratic candidates for governor and U.S. Senate at a campaign event in Tampa today.

Three candidates are in the running to fill the position vacated by State Rep. Alex Miller, a Sarasota Republican, who unexpectedly submitted her resignation from House District 72 last August. Gov. Rick Scott announced there will be a special election to replace Miller on Tuesday.

Vice President Joe Biden will attend a pair of voter-registration events Monday when he comes to Florida to campaign for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, according to details of the trip released Friday.

The second highest elected leader in the nation was in Tampa Wednesday to deliver wide-ranging remarks about American policy in Latin America.

Vice President Joe Biden addressed local business leaders and elected officials at an invitation-only event at the University of Tampa.

His decision finalizes the Democratic Party’s field of White House candidates and sets Biden on a glide path toward the end of his decades-long political career.

Biden spent months deliberating with his family and political advisers about a potential late entry to the Democratic primary.

But he also said he might not be emotionally ready to run after his 46-year-old son Beau died of brain cancer in May.

Both vice presidential candidates are in Hillsborough County today. Current Veep Joe Biden addressed a campaign rally in Sun City Center, followed by Republican aspirant Paul Ryan. Biden fired up a crowd of mostly seniors at Sun City Center's Community Association Hall.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this election is about a lot," Biden said. "But it's also about who we are as a country. And I've got news for Governor Romney and Congressman Ryan. And they are dead wrong. America is neither dependent nor in decline. Period."

Biden Postpones Tampa Trip Over Weather Concerns
