Americans are divided on lots of issues. But a new national survey finds that people across the political spectrum agree on at least one thing: Our health care system needs fixing.

The "Hidden Common Ground" survey from Public Agenda, USA Today and Ipsos found that 92% of Americans say changes are needed.

And a majority of Americans want "either major changes or a complete overhaul of the system," says Chris Jackson, vice president of market research firm Ipsos.

Object to abortion? You may be able to get an exemption from the Affordable Care Act tax penalty for people who don't get health insurance.

Health care finally came up as an issue in the second presidential debate in St. Louis Sunday night. But the discussion may have confused more than clarified the issue for many voters.

It's tax season, and for the first time, people filing tax returns will be asked if they have health insurance. Under the federal health law, there is a tax penalty for not having insurance.  United Way Suncoast is once again offering free tax prep help.  This year, they're partnering with Covering Tampa Bay, a group that works to enroll people in health plans.  Danielle Laughlin is an income strategies manager for the United Way.

Navigators will be at Recreation Centers in Tampa

With a March 31st deadline to sign up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act, Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn is joining in the effort to get folks to sign up.  So-called healthcare "navigators" will soon be at nine recreation centers across Tampa to help people with the enrollment process.

Buckhorn was joined Monday by Congresswoman Kathy Castor and U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius at the Loretta Ingraham Center, one of the locations where navigators will be available to assist people in signing up for health care insurance.
