Justices agreed to take up a case involving catastrophic injuries to Jacquelyn Faircloth after two Tallahassee bars served underage drinkers.

The woman's guardian filed the lawsuit against owners two bars where the she and the other driver had been drinking, alleging that they illegally served alcohol to underage people and caused the accident.

Jacquelyn Faircloth was 18 when she was struck by the 20-year-old driver of a pickup truck.

The crash caused an outpouring of support from people in the South Tampa community, many of whom knew Faircloth as a Plant High student and cheerleader.
