A survey finds that residents are feeling more confident in their personal finances than they were just a month ago.

Millennials are less well off than members of earlier generations when they were young. They have lower earnings, fewer assets and less wealth, a new Federal Reserve study says.

That's slower than the second quarter's blockbuster 4.2 percent but puts the economy on pace for the fastest annual growth in 13 years.
