Wind chills in Hillsborough County are expected to dip below 40 degrees

It's ahead of a cold front that will drop temperatures to near 40.

Temperatures will fall into the 30s and 40s overnight, with some spots getting into the 20s. Wind chills could drop into the mid to upper 20s and lower 30s.

Cold weather shelters are opening in the greater Tampa Bay region this weekend as a cold front moves through.
