Fans still have the opportunity to see if the Tampa Bay Rays can stay alive today in their American League Division Series against the Houston Astros.
According to the Rays’ website, limited numbers of tickets remain in nearly all of the 300-level upper-deck sections of Tropicana Field for Monday’s Game 3 at 1:05 p.m. against the Houston Astros – the Rays’ first playoff game at the Trop since 2013. Limited seating is also available in certain lower levels.
With parking at the Trop expected to be at capacity, several shuttles will be made available around St. Petersburg to take fans to and from the stadium.
Officials say message boards along the main routes to Tropicana Field will direct fans to alternative parking sites. The Mahaffey Theater parking lot will be open for $10, and the South Core and Sun Dial parking garages will be open for $5.
The shuttles will operate two hours before game time and one hour after.
The Rays, down 2-0, will try to avoid elimination behind starter Charlie Morton, who won Wednesday’s American League Wild-Card game against Oakland. He went 16-6 with a 3.05 ERA in the regular season and goes against Zack Greinke (18-5, 2.93).
If the Rays win, Game 4 will be at the Trop at 4:15 p.m. Tickets remain in several sections throughout the stadium.
Team officials remind that postseason tickets are mobile-only, and paper tickets are not available. Fans can scan their tickets on their smartphone or though the free MLB Ballpark app.
