Rachel Smith is a WUSF/USF Zimmerman School digital news intern for spring 2019.

Born in Miami, Florida, Rachel is now pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in production at USF. Her goal is to one day become a documentarian and an investigative reporter.

Rachel is a writer for HercampusUSF and is a scholarship recipient from the Tampa Bay Association of Black Journalists.
