TropicalTrack-FPBS_0.jpg

After briefly reaching a category 4 status overnight, on Wednesday morning Hurricane Gonzalo was back to a Category 3 storm. However, now, Hurricane Gonzalo is once again a category 4 hurricane with maximum winds speeds of 130 mph.

Regardless of any more changes in its strength, it will remain a major hurricane until Saturday. Hurricane Gonzalo is the first category 4 hurricane since 2011 in the Atlantic Basin. The National Hurricane Center forecast track reveals Hurricane Gonzalo will remain on a northwesterly path. It is forecast to reach Bermuda on Friday. There is no threat from Hurricane Gonzalo to the State of Florida.
