Paul Tash Loves WUSF

Tampa Bay Times

Paul Tash, chairman and CEO of the Tampa Bay Times, knows quality journalism when he hears it.

"I'm Paul Tash at the Tampa Bay Times. I'm the chairman and CEO, and I came to the Times 35 years ago. I'm typically in the car on my way to work when I hear Morning Edition. I often then hear the business segment at 7:50 in the morning, which is always of interest to me. And then in the evening, I often listen to Marketplace at around 6 o'clock. Then occasionally, I even go to sleep with all-night jazz with WUSF.

"In this time, when there are so many voices all competing for attention, having trusted news sources like the Tampa Bay Times and WUSF is just invaluable.

"From Tampa Bay's oldest and longest-serving news organization to our good friends and colleagues at WUSF, happy 50th birthday and many happy returns. You're just getting started."

"I host a food podcast" is a great icebreaker at parties.
