SunCoast Blood Centers, the region's local, community non-profit blood bank has an immediate need for blood to service the local hospitals in Sarasota, Manatee, DeSoto & Charlotte counties, along with the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. As a member of the Blood Emergency Readiness Corp (BERC Network) we recently rushed much needed blood to hospitals in South Texas (scene of the tragic school schooling in Uvalde, TX). We’re expecting to have to make another shipment soon. This has impacted our local reserves which was critically low due to the national blood crisis. There’s an urgent and immediate need for O-Positive and O-Negative blood to service patients in our area. Please call 1-866-97-BLOOD to schedule your blood donation or on our website www.suncoastblood.org. Thank you for Giving Locally and Saving Globally!
