This sixth annual exhibition features original work by artists awarded grants from Creative Pinellas: Dorian Angello, Adam and Kayte Bush, Jon Ditty, Alex Kaufman, Teresa Mandala, Rachel Ratcliff, Heather Rippert, Ashley Rivers, Ketsy Ruiz, and Margherita Tibaldo. Conceived as a way to use the arts to help our community heal, the exhibition features crafts, writing, photography, and other memorabilia from those being remembered, including the artwork of arts administrator Suzanne Ruley. Don’t miss this special opportunity to get to know and carry on the legacy of those who are no longer with us. “THE THINGS THEY LEFT BEHIND: Grief, Discovery, and Remembrance” will open with a reception and program on Thursday, May 12 from 6-8pm and run through June 26.

The International Classic Ballet Theater is coming to the Pinellas Park Performaning Arts Center May 18th & 19th with two performances at 2:00 and 8:00pm each day. This is not your typical ballet, as the performance brings 15 world-class, professional dancers from across the globe. They perform dances from six of your favorite ballets including, Swan Lake, Don Quixote & La Bayadere. Additionally, they perform modern dance, kopak, kan-kan, gypsy dance and a glittering & elegant dance to the music of George Gershwin. This is truly a fun and entertaining evening of the best of the best of classical dance. This exciting gala program is directed by Marina Medvetskaya and hosted by the Performing Arts Cultural Exchange (PACE) Foundation which awards Classical Ballet Scholarships to children internationally.
