"Green Day's American Idiot" at American Stage

"Green Day's American Idiot" is a high-octane rock opera that follows the lives of three young men struggling to find a place in this world. Originally, the piece premiered on Broadway and was written by Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong. Today, American Stage is adding a St. Pete twist to the classic blockbuster. Watch as our cast sings their way out of suburbia, enlists in a hopeless war, and fights a battle with drugs. It's an emotional ballad set to the tune of Green Day's hit album, "American Idiot." Directed by St. Pete's Gavin Hawk.
