GOP Vows to Push for Legislation Banning Gay Marriage

NPR's Alex Chadwick speaks with NPR's Eric Niiler about congressional action on a proposed constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage. Although the proposed amendment is expected to fail to pass in Wednesday's vote, many Republicans are promising to continue to push for legislation on this issue.
