Another Team "Leaves" Big East Conference Before Playing A Game

Lead in text:
The University of South Florida won't be making any trips to the West Coast anytime soon, as yet another school is apparently pulling out of the Big East Conference without ever playing a game. ESPN.com reports San Diego State will return to the Mountain West Conference, joining Boise State, which decided last year not to join the Big East as a football-only member.
San Diego State is expected to be reinstated as a member of the Mountain West Conference this afternoon, according to industry sources. The Aztecs were scheduled to join the Big East on July 1 as a football-only member and the Big West in all other sports, but instead would remain a member of the Mountain West in all sports.
