Books, music, authors, food -- it's time for the 25th annual Tampa Bay Times Festival of Reading. This week on Florida Matters we're talking with three of the authors that will be featured in the event, held Saturday November 11 at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg.

The 23rd Tampa Bay Times Festival of Reading will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24 at USF St. Petersburg.

More than a half dozen authors with ties to the University of South Florida will appear alongside such literary heavyweights as R.L. Stine and Carl Hiaasen at the 22nd Annual Tampa Bay Times Festival of Reading this Saturday at the USF Saint Petersburg campus.

The list ranges from current faculty members like Jonathan Rottenberg (hear an interview with him here) to former faculty like St. Petersburg poet laureate Peter Meinke to USF graduate and "Daily Show" correspondent Aasif Mandvi. You can see a full schedule of speakers here.

The 20th Annual Tampa Bay Times Festival of Reading is this Saturday, October 20th, at the USF St. Petersburg campus from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

While well-known authors like Dennis Lehane (speaking at the University Student Center at 10 a.m.) and Michael Grunwald (University Student Center at 2:30 p.m.) will present their latest works, three local figures profiled on this week's University Beat on WUSF 89.7 will also be speaking.
