Voters around Plant City will go to the polls Tuesday to elect a new state House representative. The special election for State House District 58 is being held to replace Republican Dan Raulerson, who stepped down for medical reasons.
Raulerson has a case of spinal stenosis, which is the narrowing of the spaces within your spine, which can cause numbness and pain down the neck, back, and legs.
"Probably the outcome was decided by the Republican primary," March said. "There's very little chance for a Democrat or a no-party candidate - there are three, there's a Democrat, a no-party candidate and a Libertarian running. But none of them has much chance against the Republican nominee, who is Lawrence McClure."
District 58 covers Plant City, Temple Terrace, Dover, Mango, Seffner, Thonotosassa, and parts of Tampa and East Lake-Orient Park.
