On the library shelf just above the chair where Florida U.S. Senator Marco Rubio sat as he chatted with school officials was the book, Encyclopedia of the Presidents and Their Times.

Was it hopeful thinking? An omen or just happen stance that the book was placed there?

There’s a lot of speculation that Rubio is lining up a run for president in 2016.

Television videographer, Dennis Hollingsworth of WTSP-Channel 10, was the first to notice the book’s placement. He was among several news media waiting to interview Rubio in the library at the Florida College Academy in Temple Terrace.

Florida’s junior senator was visiting the private school to promote his Educational Opportunities Act, a federal version of the state’s school voucher program that gives low-income children school choice.

He visited with kindergarteners, second graders, eighth graders and then privately with parents at the school. Rubio later met in closed meetings with commanders from U.S. Central Command and U.S. Special Operations Command at MacDill Air Force Base.

The first-term senator also delivering the keynote address at the Reagan Day Dinner held Tuesday by the Republican Party of Pasco County.
