Florida lawmakers returned to Tallahassee for a busy three-day special session last week, ending with new agreements on school spending, tourism and business incentives, and medical marijuana but leaving in place many of Gov. Rick Scott's vetoes, and questions about the session's last-minute deals unanswered.

Naples Daily News Tallahassee Bureau Chief Arek Sarkissian joins Gulf Coast Live to explain what was passed, and what wasn't, during the 2017 special session of the Florida legislature, and how those decisions will impact Florida, and the state's more than $80 billion budget, in the coming year.

Also joining the program is WGCU reporter John Davis, discussing the impacts from the special session for Southwest Florida.
